PDR stands for Paintless Dent Repair or Removal. It’s the fastest, most efficient and cost effective method for removing door dings, creases, hail damage and dents without involving sanding or repainting. PDR is performed 100% by hand, very delicately with special tools that gain access from the back side of the panel, and in some cases with techniques and tools from the top. There are no suction cups or dry ice involved.

These methods are just a myth and are not true for removing dents properly. The PDR process demands high experience and training to gain the best results. A unique reflection board or light is used to identify the details of the dent while being the main focal point of where the technician is concentrating. The board casts a reflection across, showing curves and contrast through the dent. Once access is gained, precise pressure is applied to the dent causing it to expand and shrink with numerous pushes and taps. These pushes and taps allow the memory of the dented panel to be formed back to pre-accident condition without jeopardizing the vehicles finish.

Their are many benefits to doing PDR over a conventual repair.  Pointless dent repair is the closest you can get to the dent never happening in the first place. No grinding, bondo, fillers, or primers are needed because your original factory paint is not disturbed. In todays cars paint colors are extremely complex, with the use of pearls and metallics and multiple coats, with PDR you don’t have to worry about the possibility of color not perfectly matching. There are no problems with filler or paint shrinkage months after the repair as is typical with most body shop repairs. To most customers the most important benefit is cost, PDR is a bargain compared to conventional body repairs, and time savings is yet another advantage. That same dent can be fixed in less than an hour. A body shop will take 3 – 5 days or longer.

No. Today’s factory paints are very flexible and will not be damaged in any way by this process. Paintless dent repair is the only way to repair a dent and still keep your factory paint.

The answer is generally yes. The deeper the dent, the more difficult it is to repair. The location and the shape of the dent can also play a huge part on what the outcome will look like.  In some situations the dent is not accessible from the back of the panel, in many cases it is double metal, a brace, noise damping material, or other integrated part. This can prevent us from completely repairing the imperfection. Even on larger dents, once we’re done, most people are amazed at the results. We always explain in detail, how your dent will look before any work is started.

Absolutely not. Once a dent has been removed properly with PDR, it never comes back erektile-apotheke.de. Most dents repaired conventionally develop a ring around the dent, or sand scratch marks 3 – 6 months after the repair. This is never the case with properly performed PDR.

No. The most important factors in determining if a dent can be repaired by PDR are depth, the shape of the dent, and location. Dents the size of a basketball or larger can be fixed successfully, but accessibility, location, depth, and shape play a huge part on any dent. So even a very small dent can sometimes be impossible to repair with PDR.  The most common dents fixed are the size of a golf ball and under. 95% of minor dents can be repaired, and about 5% of minor dents can’t be fixed due to reason mentioned above. Just remember that ever car is different so the best thing to do it bring it by and let us determine what is or isn’t fixable with PDR.

Currently we do not do paint in house, but we work directly with local body shops to do our conventional repairs. So the great news is you can still drop it off with us and we can take care of the logistics for you. In some cases we can remove lights scratches and marks in your paint, though it is a case by case basis, ask us about our car details and paint corrections, and coating services.

We sure can. We can remove those dents for a lot less than you will be charged for “excessive wear and tear on your vehicle’s exterior”. If your lease is up soon give us a call, you’ll be glad you did.

Yes. The price for repairing dents has to do with depth and locations on the car.  We also have a rebate that is up to 500 dollars if you car has been hailed on.  Please ask us about the details we would love to earn your business.

Ever hear the saying “Image is everything”? Most people judge a car by its appearance. If it looks good they assume it has been well taken care of. Used car dealers and wholesalers know this. They also know what they spend on PDR will make them many times over what they spend, and will help them sell the car quicker. If you’re selling your car, PDR is one of the best ways to get top dollar, more interested buyers, and a quicker sale.
